Read The Blood Ledger in this order: 1) What the Ilustres Eat, a standalone novella set in Davao in 1987, 2) Blood and Bone City (Book 1), set in a Makati office tower thirty years later, 3) The Taste of What Is Owed (a Book Two novella), 4) Marrow and Manila (Book 2), 5) Yield (a Book Three novella), 6) Salt and Succession (Book 3). The 1987 novella is the doorway — same compound, same hunger — and it shows you exactly what Marisol Reyes is walking into. The Blood Ledger is the one finished series: the trilogy is complete, and the three companion novellas are optional standalones around it.

“Room Tone” is a Hunted Mate novelette by Raven Voss, available only to newsletter subscribers. Told by Sloane Wilder three weeks before the events of Hunted on Livestream, it follows the true-crime podcaster as she records sixty seconds of silence for her show and finds a breath on the tape that is not hers. It focuses on Caspian, the incubus, with the other four monsters at the edges. It is explicit (18+) and is not available for sale anywhere.

Reverse harem — also called why-choose — is a romance in which the heroine ends up with several love interests at once and never has to pick just one. In the Hunted Mate series, Sloane Wilder is claimed by five monsters, and “why choose?” is the whole point.

The novels are very explicit — adult fiction (18+) with dark themes and on-page heat.
